Comprehension: An original Fortis Comprehension – understanding the text, focusing on vocabulary, analysing key words in questions and phrasing answers fully and precisely. Exam technique giving appropriate detail according to the marks and ensuring that all elements are addressed, proofreading skills. Writing: Planning narrative writing - how to plan a simple plot that makes sense so that the exam time can focus on quality of writing/description. Descriptive writing with appropriate literary devices to hit the examiner’s mark scheme. Following the examinations, many students have received letters from next schools commending their writing. Vocabulary and Grammar. All material is original and cannot be purchased. Papers will not be repeated in any other course.
